How we write

Every guide is written to be acted on tonight: the steps are in the order you would do them, the products are described by what they do rather than by brand, and we say plainly when something needs a professional.

We do not sell products and we do not run sponsored rankings. When an article is about a particular brand, the headline says so.

Hair care touches on health. Where a symptom could have a medical cause, we say so and point you to a GP, dermatologist or trichologist rather than guessing.
